I get a prompt from Ramses to trade his gold per turn for my pearls. I hit accept and it crashes to desktop. The game is in a windowed mode with a black screen and a windows pop-up saying the game crashed and forces me to close the game.

I have replayed this 4 times now with different save points and different actions.

although I get the discover all civilizations and enables the World Congress and I always select World's Fair.

I tried uploading a saved game, but can't seem to figure it out. It was an auto save, then now it's a quick save.

If someone can point me how to save it, I can upload for others to test.

It is around mid 1600s and it was an auto made game. I just hit play now or something and it auto-created a game for me. I'm Indonesian in game if that helps any (I can't remember the AI's name).

ps. How do I upload a saved game? I see no option when editing this thread.

I had to create a new message for uploading saves.

Here's my quicksave.

hmmm, noone tested?

Well, I did some more testing and it crashed on Ramses giving the okay on my World's Fair selection. Then I started a new game and it crashed an hour or two into it.

Then I got to thinking I used the Windows 8 touchscreen option as recommended. I never tried this mode before and always used dx10/dx11. So I started the game in dx10/dx11 mode and all is well in the world.

although I still get the old scrolling graphics glitch of the map area drawing up grey then slowly fills in after it catches up. It only does it the first pass, then it's fine the rest of the session.
