Game crashes about 10 minutes in.

Hi I just purchased Civ 5 and every time I play the game, 10 minutes in the game crashes to q black screen causing me to have to reboot my computer manually. Any help?
Intel core i7 4770k
Nvidia Gtx 780
Ballistix sport 2x 8gb RAM
MSI Z87-G45 gaming motherboard.

If you are using the win 8 option, try one of the other two options.
