The computer is a 2.4 Ghz P4 with 512 RDRAM and plent of space on the Hard drive and a 64 MB graphics card(nvidia geforce 4 420 MX i believe). I'm not certain but I'm pretty sure all the other wonders videos ran fine. It's my dad who has been playing. I installed the 1.52 patch thinking it might have just been maxing out the graphics memory.

I am going to look for an update for the video driver but other than that I have no idea what else to try. Oh and as far as other things go, the game appears to run fine. The second video that loads at start up is choppy but it doesn't crash. So, I'm not sure what to do. I can't find a way to turn off the videos... you'd think there would be that option.

Anyways, an help would be greatly appreciated cuz my dad is on my ass to fix it since he knows next to nothing about computers.

Ok well I think I've fixed the problem. Though it's not really fixing it. It's ignoring it.

; Set to 1 for no in-game movies
NoMovies = 0

If you set that to one in the init file it will turn off the movie which is causing the problem. Any ideas what's the reasoning for this problem?

It might be the jump from the game to bink then back to game that is highlighting a weak spot in your system.

Anyways you could try changing the ini lines binknoskip from default and the other dirty pixel one too. Not at home but if it is listed as 1 then change it to 0 and if it is listed at 0 change it to one.
