+++ Chieftess has given voice to Cyc
<Cyc>: hey TO
<Cyc>: I'm here, TheOverseer
<Cyc>: Just got off work, TheOverseer
<Cyc>: brb
<TheOverseer>: Hey there
<TheOverseer>: just muddling my way through
<Cyc>: what turn are we on?
<TheOverseer>: Just traded Cairde and Greek world maps and then got Banking and Navigation
<TheOverseer>: just wrapping up turn 5
<TheOverseer>: amend that, Astronomy, not Navigation
<Cyc>: How goes the war?
<TheOverseer>: Captured Reading, Coventry, Richmond, and Warwick
<Cyc>: What are we doing for notes?
<Cyc>: very cool.
<TheOverseer>: losing a few units along the way, need to rest and heal
<TheOverseer>: bad news though, England has Knights and Pikes
<Cyc>: Ours are better
<TheOverseer>: notes, hopefully Furiey logs this, unless you tell me how myself
<TheOverseer>: my copy and pasting gets me a table on Word
<Cyc>: Any problems with the Instructions?
<TheOverseer>: there weren't many
<TheOverseer>: and now we are in our GA
<Cyc>: are you on mIRC?
<TheOverseer>: no, I don't have that
<Cyc>: ok, it's kind of late now. You've lost everything that's gone up to the top of the screen.
<Cyc>: If you put your cursor on the line you want to start copying on and right click and hold, you can select all the text below it.
<Cyc>: Once it's selected (dark blue), you right click any where on the selected text and choose copy.
<TheOverseer>: I get weird stuff when I paste to Word, each line gets a page
<Cyc>: Then you can past it to a post in civfanatics, or to notepad/wordpad. But they restructure the lines, so you have to correct them.
<Cyc>: It's best to paste them right into a post. I paste in the poiler tags
<Cyc>: It's good to be King, eh?
<TheOverseer>: It's tough, I know that
<Cyc>: Don't use word. Too complicated.
<TheOverseer>: no kidding
<Cyc>: did you read what I wrote?
<Cyc>: What turn are you on?
<TheOverseer>: Just finished Turn 5
<Cyc>: Do the turn 5 save
<TheOverseer>: I have
<TheOverseer>: You think 5 turns is enough?
<Cyc>: It's up to you Mr. President. 5 is the minimum. If you want to call it quits for the night you can.
<Cyc>: You've probably been working on it for a long while, huh?
<TheOverseer>: I think I will and maybe schedule one for Sunday
<TheOverseer>: yes, since 4, about 5 hours
<Cyc>: Cool. Just put up another Instruction thread for Sunday sometime (maybe same time) and we're good.
<Cyc>: Sorry, I had to work late. I know how difficult this can be. Wish I could have been here.
<Cyc>: You did not switch to Music Theory.
<TheOverseer>: Yeah, the wonder cascade broke
<TheOverseer>: we can get Chemistry, then do Music Theory, and get Bachs in a single turn
<Cyc>: Ok
<TheOverseer>: We have 391 shields in Molly collected, by the time MT researches, it should be close
<Cyc>: You know the cost of buiding a Palace changes with an increase in the amount of cities in the kingdom?
<TheOverseer>: yep, it goes to 1000 after hitting the OCP, I think
<Cyc>: Actually, it cn reduce the amount of turns needed by 10 with the addition of a couple 3 cities.
<Cyc>: hat's new CB?
<Cyc>: {What's}
<CommandoBob>: I saw that we got lucky with the Wonder Cascade on the first IBT. That works out well for us on JS Bach's.
<CommandoBob>: Everyone will be starting from scratch, except us in Molly.
<TheOverseer>: Navigation is out there, and our buddies are doing Magellan's, but that is it
<Cyc>: Yes, I'm glad about that. TO says we can research MT nd still build JSB's on time.
<Cyc>: It's ok to draw and quarter a President when he's wrong about a Wonder, isn't it?
<CommandoBob>: Going from the chat log, Chemistry is two turns away.
<Cyc>:
<CommandoBob>: At 50% sci, Music Theory was 8 or 10 turns, I forget.
<TheOverseer>: That's the new impeachment method
<CommandoBob>: (Sorta musing out loud...)
<TheOverseer>: We are in the GA now
<Cyc>: 2/Chemistry, how many for Metallurgy and MT?
<Cyc>: true
<CommandoBob>: MT = Military Tradtion or Music Theory?
<Cyc>: Sheesh. It's always Military Tradition for me.
<Cyc>: I may have gotten that wrong
<Cyc>: sorry TO if I did
<TheOverseer>: I see both mentioned that way
<CommandoBob>: After Chemistry, we might be able to get Music Theory in 4.
<CommandoBob>: But only since it is our GA.
<Cyc>: I'm sure you're right. I was going around the long way
<TheOverseer>: CA2 has Music at 1066 beakers, Metal and Military at 1706
<CommandoBob>: Oh, on a turnset on Sunday; dont' we have to have a gap of (some number) of hours between turnsets?
<Cyc>: 2772 divided by how much?
<CommandoBob>: Duh, I dunno; I thought it came up in Term 3.
<Cyc>: I think it's at least 3 days. But I don't think anyone will complain. But if you want to go by the Constitution, it's at least 3 days
<TheOverseer>: How about 5PM?
<Cyc>: A Game Session Instruction Thread must be created at least 2 days before the chat by the Designated Player for that session. Should a thread not be created in a timely manner, the President may create one.
<Cyc>: 5 pm works for me.
<CommandoBob>: Which time zone?
<Cyc>: Game Sessions must be at least 3 days apart, no more than 7 days apart. The initial post should contain the date and time of the game session, a link to the save to be used for that session, and if the game session will be online or offline.
<TheOverseer>: Eastern Daylight
<Cyc>: TO is EDT
<Cyc>: I'll be here for Sunday's for sure.
<CommandoBob>: I'm CDT (and sometimes OCD, but very often NVF (Not Very Funny)).
<Cyc>: But you're always witty.
<CommandoBob>: I might be available for part of that T/C. I would have to leave for church at 5.15, since I am part of the tech crew.
<Cyc>: And pretty smart for an idiot.
<TheOverseer>: By the way, should I quit logging this, I haven't played in 45 minutes?
<CommandoBob>: <Idiot> Ah, the days of MTDG One and my limited involvment.
