Game Setup

Guys

Still fairly new to Civ6 but improving and enjoying the game the more I play. I have tried many different game setups to find the best one for me, but there has always been something that I didn't like or failed badly at, until now.

My current game is:
Norway, Prince, Quick, Factal, Huge, Domination or Score victory, No CS's, No Barbs, 8 Civs.

I have found this setup gives me the time to improve on all the different aspects of the game, it appears to be working. I have now moved up the leaderboard to 2nd/3rd which is progress.

The most important thing for me about this setup is, I am really enjoying it!

Great, what leaderboards? The ones at the end of the game? They are based on score and to move up in those just build more cities and districts. But if that's what you like doing, all respect to you.
There are so many ways to play the game but I'm still not bored with continent standard.

To have fun when I play is the most important for me as well and I don’t necessarily have to struggle to have fun. By the way continents, standard map is my favorite setting as well.
