Game speed scaling

I'd like to know what you think should be done about scaling to game speeds. Do you think aspects of the game should scale to speed? If so... which parts, and how?
 
I think one-shot boosts such as the Great Scientist ability or the Nationalism finisher should scale. Yields and per-turn-stuff should not scale, the game should take longer.
 
I don't understand why u see need to give AI more units at start on slower game speeds.
Yields should not or even CANT scale or you will break the balance.
 
I would like things to scale for marathon game play where you feel its needed. Its my favorite way to play and was a bit concerned when you said mod was not modded for that speed.
 
I have an issue with era's not occurring when they should. Like multiple civs entering the modern era in the 1700's along with myself. I experienced this on epic speed on Prince. I haven't played on Standard speed so I'm unsure if this is an issue at that speed as well.
