Games Crashes on launch - low system memory

Civ loads but when I try to launch a game or benchmark it crashes saying system low on memory.

System Specs
Windows 10 Home - 64bit
i5 - 4670k
8gb RAM
240gb SSD Hard Drive with 70gb free
RX 480 8gb Grfx

Any ideas?

Nothing else running in background. I've shut any programs down that could be interferring. System says 5gb RAM free.

Civ 5 plays fine no problem, as do other resource hungry games like X-Com2. Only Civ 6 having issues

Can you post a DxDiag man? Really need more system specifics here.

Also, is this a home built or branded PC? Have you tried the usual of updating drivers etc? If I had to take a guess right off the bat it would be that the game is attempting to launch with onboard graphics of some kind.

You can rule that out by right clicking Start >> Device Manager. Make sure only 1 device is listed under Display Adapters, as below:
