Wouldn't you like to know?
What style do you play?
The main categories are:
Warmonger
Culture Freak
Technology Racer
Economist
Historic Player (trying to match history during gameplay)
Balanced
Other (name your style)
After you choose a category, you can specify a little (so I would write: I am a quick blitzkrieg warmonger.)

I am a balanced player. I play different styles. Normally, when I play on Emperor, I fight one early war (read axe rush). Then I tech up through CS, Machinery and Construction, maybe grabbing the GL along the way. This is followed by a Mace/Catapult/Knight war. By this time, I have the terretory of 2 AIs inmy control. Usually I will turtle up until Cavs/Grenadiers(CR3 from Maces!!) for a Domination. Or, if I go peace, then I just turtle up until space or Diplo. Space comes around 1850 usually.

In my last game (Emperor) I abused State Property (Workshops) so much for my spaceship parts, I had the IW city at >200 hammers per turn and 2 other cities at >100 hammers per turn. This also helps with getting 1 turn MAs and 3 turn Nukes (Epic) for modern war.

I always start of as a tech racer, in order to end up spreading my culture around and invading my neighbours with my slowly built up but technologically advanced army... That is, if I do not finish my space ship first.

Just to say that I play pretty balanced, and just adapt my goals to the developments of the other cultures.

Warmonger through and through.

Specifically, eliminating (or close to it) adversarys all game long until I win a Domination victory. Measured progress.

Cheers.

Culture Freak :woohoo:

I'm mostly a peaceful builder, and given a chance will most likely go for diplomatic or space victory, avoiding wars. I've tried to play more warlike games lately, just to get more familiar with the approach. While early to midgame wars are fine, I find the modern wars (when I already have a nice number of cities and the number of units around the map becomes large) take so much time to play that I would rather again go for space.. Maybe I'll find my balance here somewhere, maybe with early war or few then consolidation and gunning for space :)

I consider myself a "warrior builder". As Hans Lemurson once said on this board, I war so I can build. I conquer territory so I have the resources I need to grow my cities and build what I want (yep, I'll go to war to get stone and/or marble). I conquer other civs so I have less competition for wonders, and more security so some cities can focus on peaceful builds. I capture more cities so I have a big empire generating huge amounts of commerce and research so I can select whatever victory condition I want.

i play as an economist lol,
i try to always maximise my GDP---got to keep the growth rates up!!!
im always glancing at the demographics to see how my empire stacks up...
but i guess that makes me a bit of a tech racer too, i like a strong economy, but only so i can bash people with advanced units, or does taht make me a warmonger, oh and i play as creative normally, because i like the culture expansions, and i love building theatres, so im partially culturefreak too :crazyeye:

well until about 1000AD i just push my science to the max and push my culture, then at 1000AD i kick it in gear and get my moeny way up while building up my military
little bit of everything i guess....matters what time ya catch me

im a "Play till it crashes or gets boring"-type.
"random leader" is essential for new combinations as long as i do not want to try something specific.

other kris style(statagy all the way through)

The naval way (sort of warmongering)

The sea gives so much. With Berserkers you can attack from it, it gives a lot of resources.
My gameplay is based on the sea. I don't have many land units..but I have some to conquer other naval cities.

It's fun!
