Software Update notified me of a patch for my Mac Pro GeForce 7300 GT last night. I installed it, and I *think* it has improved the Civ4 performance a little - the main impression is that the cloud animation in satellite view is smoother with City detail turned on, but that's about it. I don't play much, so I can't say whether there are any stability improvements.
