Hello,
First time poster here
.
I just started to play with this mod and i noticed something very strange/buggy about faith.
Current situation is. I play as Pacal (King difficulty, standard speed/map size, script continents plus, default settings) and i have a shrine (pyramid) build in my capital, which gives me 2 faith per turn (unique building). I also just settled my second city with settler from policy. Its turn 19 now and i have accumulated 12 faith (20 is currently for pantheon). I bough in new city a monument and after playing some turns i noticed that my faith is 25, with income still being +2. I have to add that i failed to get Pantheon, because when i was 1/2 turns away from it it was getting popped by AI (?).
I reloaded to my last save and played again the same way, paying attention to my faith - at 20 faith i gained only 1 faith..
I reloaded again and bought in my second city pyramid instead of monument, increasing my faith income to +4 per turn. Pantheon is due in 2 turns, but someone founded one in next turn! Its different from when i had +2 faith income, first pantheon was then found after 2 turns (from the start described here). After few turns instead of +4 faith i gained again only +1.
I played both scenarios (+2 faith/+4 faith) till i got pantheon. In both cases it happened around 50 faith. This is pretty annoying, as it seems my choice of building doesn't affect the outcome.
I was wondering if the AI are getting some sick faith volumes from something and installed the tuner. I took over each AI (with simulating turns and ending with AI at end, i have no idea if its right approach) and all of them showed 12 faith accumulated (consistent with what my civilization had accumulated at the start of this report) and +0 faith income. None of then had any building for faith.
When the turns was played by tuner my civilization was only one to get pantheon, none of the AI's got it.
I consider the wrong faith income (+1 instead of +2/+4) as a bug. I would like to know if the behavior with AI's faith is a feature or maybe something is bugged here as well?
