Reffa, if you're out of ideas, I have here an old request I've made but the artist I asked it never took it up.

If done, I would use it as an Asian replacement for or the galleon, or the ship of the line. (for the frigate and one of the above slots I plan to use GM's existing junk and junk-of-the-line models)
 
And GeneralMatt, perhaps you could release this model as well as a fantasy Indian or African ship?
 
I was planning on it, but I haven't finished testing just yet. The front mast is off to one side in game and looks funny. I will try to finish it soon.

Thanks, I saw it somewhere before, and thought it looked like a cool idea.
 
Right, finished the model for the Ironclad Battleship, all I need to do now is get it animated. I did all the same stuff, as far as I can tell, as I did for the HMS Warrior, which animated, but this one will not. Very frustrating.

I will try to get it working.
 
Very nice looking frigate! That's one void in the tech tree filled!
 
Love to look but I do not have a google account.. If you want, I (With help of RockingRoger) have got a lot done to update this to BTS, and Modular for the World of Civ thing..

The entire transport, battleship, cruiser, almost all the buildings..
 
If you do not wish the laser, just delete the laser nif file (But not the XML). Or, if you want I can put up the original on that did not use it. I doubt though this looks anything like a modern destroyer...

If you have a modular naval mod you should post it diffinitely please....:eek:

Our naval module focuses mostly on the medival and ren ages(early industrial alittle bit) as those are leglected, what about yours?
 
It isn't dome yet.. but it is basically the warlords version into BtS, but with new stuff.

So far.
In Battleships:
Trireme->Galleass->War Galleon->Ship of the Line->Ironclad Battleship->Dreadnought->Battleship

In Cruisers:
Frigate->Ironclad Cruiser->Armoured (WWI) Cruiser->WWII Cruiser-> Guided Missile Cruiser

In Light ships:

Early Destroyer->Destroyer-> Some modern one
Anti Sub Corvette
Torpedo Boat->PT Boat (Which reminds me, I found a nice free model of a PT boat, just need to get it skinned)

In Submarines: Submarine-> Attack Submarine, Missile Submarine

In Carriers: WWII Carrier-> Nuclear Carrier

Also, I am hoping to add a earlier marine unit that can fight on land, starts with amphibious, and can also be carried on certain warships (As a SPECIALUNIT_MARINE) and can bombard other ships (Just a little though)

Buildings:

Small Shipyard
Large Shipyard
National Shipyard (National Wonder)
Trafalgar Square (Or Admiralty/Navy Board)(World Wonder)
Retired (Museum) Ship
Training Ship (the last two can only be built with ships, aka the Military Academy)

Naval Academy (adds Naval Academy Branch to every city) (National Wonder)*
Naval Academy Branch (Can only be acquired by building the Naval Academy)*

I also want to try to get a new Great Person, the Great Admiral. Works like a great general, but is for only ships.

*With the Navy academy, I wanted the effect to be spread through out the country as the officers of that academy would be spread out to all new ships, not just the ones built in the same city.
So the Naval Academy branch gives +2 xp to every naval unit built.
 
Yep, RockingRoger has helped a lot, he has done most of the buildings, and helped me figure that modular thing. It is meant to be for WoC, but I will release it by itself to. It will also use the range bombardment thing, that will make the navy much more versatile!
 
Maybe %50? Maybe more, most of the units are done, most of the buildings. A new tech (Industrialized Navy, req Steam Power and steel and you can train ironclad frigates and battleships).

I have not done an new unique units, not sure if I will this version.. Roger says he will do the promos..
 
Well they can be modular, just the prerequisite will not work..

But it is not in the module bit though, it is as a normal mod..
