Well, I don't know if that was clear but I've already implemented 3 spells. (4 in the newest unpublished version) Just look at the tiny mod linked in the first post to get a glimpse of it.
 
I'd like it if somehow you could apply mana cost to existing unit actions as well, so that there will be an added attribute in the XML to set it. Because I'd like to be able to give a mana/fuel cost for airstrikes and bombing.

It's out now :D
But it doesn't (yet) contain mana costs for rebasing or related stuff.

I have done a similar mod myself (making a 4th yield, that is) and I have been trying to find a way to display the yield when the toggle yeild display is on.

The files in the SymbolPath tags in CIV4YieldInfos.xml appear to have no effect but I have managed to find a file that can be edited to change the display of the other yields. It is vertical_symbols.dds in the assets\art\interface\symbols folder. I have had a little luck in altering it to add the 4th yield but the results are horrible and not worth using. I have attached my best attempt so you can try it and see.

If you manage to find a way to make this work, I would be really interested to know.

Hm, I tried your file and found no way to make it do something useful. An idea would be to create an new file called symbol_04.nif as symbol01-03.nif are already in place. But just renaming symbol_03.nif to symbol_04.nif doesn't do the trick and I'm not really a 3D guy to alter the files myself.

So at the moment I've no idea how to make it work if it is even possible.
 
There are some news. As you can see I posted a new version that has half-working support for multiple maps. More details on page 1.

That is strange. I just installed fresh from my download location and had no problems to cast fireball on a lion. If you want you can post a savegame with the situation of the crash and I'll look into it.
