Generic Metal Gear Solid badass thread

I don't normally start threads in the Games section, but the whole Metal Gear Solid Canon is just too good to pass up, and this forum needs more badassness.

Nothing, jsut to talk about how badass the series is.

And I've just ordered Snake Eater: Subsistence!

I haven't actually seen the demo yet.
I think that Snake Eater is possibly the best addition to the series; it's setting, in the 1960s, I thing was great touch, and the MGS attention to detail is amazing, giving immense replay value.
I also like how all of the games are interelated

Why would it make Ocelot weak? If anything I thought he would be more immune to paranormal things.

Snake Eater was great fun. They gave you a knife. I've cut so many people's throats, all I could hear during the Sorrow river seqquence is 'Argh my throat!'
I dont know if it can beat MGS 1 in badassnes though. It's the only game that made me a bit sad when Meryl dies.

Because his father's the Sorrow, who allowed the souls of the dead to posess him in battles (hence his reputation), it allows Liquid's arm to posess Ocelot. Eventually, Ocelot completely loses himself to the arm, and becomes an extension of Liquid

I hope so. Ocelot's a badass, wheras Liquid's just a whiny guy who likes taking his shirt off, with an english accent.

Well me and my pals like to make impressions, Liquid impression is always good for a laugh. I do a good DARPA Chief death scream scene, sometimes it scares people when I really get into it. XD
