I'm wondering about some sort of genocide feature in Civ, specifically the ability to wipe out enemy cultures within your cities. Is there any mod, feature, or functionality where I can use military force (perhaps the whip?) to selectively purge my own people?

Picture this. You conquered Thebes a while ago, and now it's a size 10 city, 30% Egyptian but 70% Arab (let's say you're playing the Arabians.) You're sick of dealing with those dirty egyptian snake-worshippers, so you trade population points for homogeneity. Either through a special building (representing the necessary purge), military action, or the whip, you kill/resettle/exile your Egyptian population and reduce your city to size 9. Since you've destroyed 1 population point of only Egyptians, your culture ratio is now 22.2% Egyptian and 88.8% Arab. You do it again, and Thebes is a size 8 city with 12.5% Egyptians and 87.5 Arabs.

I find this would work best with the whip of the slavery civic. Throughout history, when you took over a city you took many of the inhabitants as slaves. These slaves could then be worked to death without any trouble, as they're not your people anyways.

What do you guys think of this idea? This way, instead of whipping your own citizens, your whip also helps clean out undesirable elements from your cities and make them tougher for your enemies to reestablish control over them.
 
I like the idea in general, however, i think it would need to have some serious consequences - unhappines, diplo :mad:.
The Whip is very powerful as it is already, so adding that "little extra" to it does not seem good.

It's best to start small, and once that little bit is done, build from there. What sort of editing tools will we need to do this?
 
Should be a python job. Hook in on the "whip event" (onCityHurry), Collect the pop and plot culture amounts, recalculate and apply new values...
