Two packs of Norman soldiers. The first pack contains those soldiers who fought with William the Conqueror on his invasion of England. The second contains soldiers of Anglo-Norman England and Wales around the time of the Anarchy and the Norman invasion of Ireland.

If anyone here (who is not Ares, because he already knows this) is a bit curious about Norman history, then try to read a little about Robert Guiscard and the Hautevilles. I can recommend John Julius Norwich's The Normans in the South and The Kingdom in the Sun. It's some amazing reads, and a great inspiration for a possible civ scenario.

if balam intends to bring some light on apulia, then i might suggest to add a falxman with a two hand attack (maybe a breton in origin) who we can be seen in the foreground of the picture
