i found this site that has abandonware on it or freeware games. This site is perfectly legal for downloading any game that has been labeled freeware or abandonware.

"Abandonware" isn't really something that's legit; merely a way to make it sound legit. Civ1 has not been labelled abandonware, and I doubt it soon will be, either.

You might want to remove that link before a mod sees it.

i dunno........the game has been up there for a long time. its not warez or anything like that. i still think its legal.
