Get rid of the annoying trivia pop-ups

I read on the internet somewhere that there was a way to edit the game somehow so that you could disable the trivia that pops up near the beginning of the game. That is so utterly annoying I can't stand it. Does anyone know what I am talking about? I want to get rid of that. Any help is greatly appreciated

I have the cracked and un-cracked version. THe uncracked version only asks u twice (from what I remembered) for your first and third auto-save, which wasn't troubling me....

It took me hours of surfing, but I finally found the info I was looking for. Now I just need to figure out how to edit civ.exe

In case anyone is having problems, such as a lost manual, and cannot answer these. Just search Yahoo for a good tech tree. I did, and I love it.
