GFC Error:Failed to initialize primary control theme

So I have made some changes to my SoI: Expanded mod, and it worked fine. Then I added space to the virtual machine I am running windows 7 in and i got this message "GFC Error:Failed to initialize primary control theme"

I am running a Windows 7 VM on an iMac, and I bought Civ 4: Complete on steam.

Can anyone tell me how to fix this problem?

I got the same error once. it has to do with the stuff in the "Resource" folder on the same level as "Assets". did you get rid of those files?

It's also possible your modmod uses the resources from SoI and you removed that mod.

Yes, that resource folder has to be located precisely and the exact name of the mod's folder has to be referenced three times (in two files).
