Okay. I have an idea. This may not be the most smart thing, but how about once we get into the industrial age, we go straight for... Scietific Method. With the two free techs, we choose Nationalism, and then Fascism. Now, we can go to war, for the rest of the game. I've used Fascism before, it's pretty good, even in peace. What do you think?

Yeah, cizzlewalk got it right. I'll try to do the turns right now, but the save at least wont come for a lil' while.
 
I established an embassy with the Persians... their capital has 9 units in it. 4 Spearmen, and 5 horsemen, with city walls. We'll need 10 medieval infantry for this city alone. I begin building them. We complete Copernicus's observatory, but the Vikings complete the Sistine Chapel. No matter, we have to worry about the Persians for now. We now have 9 medieval infantry and 5 crusaders. I want 30. We complete Magellan's voyage, and Tiwanku starts building caravels. WTH did we build so many pikemen? Who exactly are we defending ourselves from while they eat away our funds. We can barely support a 30% science rate. 17 medieval infantry and 5 crusaders. We discover the English on an island to the Southeast. 22 medieval infantry, 6 crusaders. That's enoguh for me, I'll leave it up to you guys now.
 
@Cizzlewalk: I may be able to play by turn!!!!!!!! Just wait untill I say I can't to play (or I say I'm done :))

The reason we built pikemen is when you attack, you bring offensive units so you don't get murdered on defence, when it's their turn, and they have roads, which you don't. Also, we can effectively guard captured cities.
 
Okay, can we please wait until Monday night to play? I'm not going to install my card until then, because I want to be able to call someone if to make sure I do it right. I'll play then. Is that okay? Until then... let's talk strategy.

@aaminion the reason for pikemen is this, its on warlord (so AI is dumb) and an assault on our wonder plenty island looks all too good. I have seen some of the MOST devastating naval assaults and invasions from the comp, honestly, and if we hadnt changed those spears to pikes we could be destroyed just as easily as we are about to destroy Persia.

me thinx we should put 6 pikes in 2 carvels and drop it off near south of capital to distract their army while we drop 15+ MI and Crusaders on their front door steps... this tactic works very welll and we'll easily take the capital and surrounding cities before they even TRY and counter-attack
 
another thing, try and get Newton's wonder soon... this will give us a GREAT lead in the industrial age and getting to rails
(we may want shakespeare's in Madrid too, just so it can keep producin like crazy) this is, however, all subject to change depending on what gogf does in his turns ;)
 
Well, I pretty much agree with the strategy, but in the North, let's land some pikeman too, to protect our troops from any nearby Persians.
