Glenn Beck Says All Hispanics Should Go Back Where They Came From!

Perhaps we should start a relief fund for all those people who die from asteroids.

Look, I completely sympathize with your view point vis-a-vis the treatment of Gazans and the blockade, but I'm starting to get confused as to what point you're making. Even if the rockets had killed no-one in Israel up to this point, I still think it would be rather negligent of the israeli gov't to just tell its citizens to ignore them and do nothing...

You mean "good people" instigating it?

Have you ever wondered why Canada, or most any other country, hasn't been the victim of major terrorist attacks? What they all have in common with each other?

...because they are far, far away from the middle-east? That's like asking if you ever wondered why Paraguay didn't have a lot of Nazis in the 30s.

Also, can I shoot inaccurate rockets at your house? You seem to be pretty cool with the idea.

Yes, it would. However, I also think it would be criminal on their part to persecute millions of people and kill thousands of others based on a threat which has only killed 27 so far over thge course of 10 years.

Talk about absurd strawmen...

I think Mobboss recently used the term "measured response" which seems quite appropriate to this discussion. Basically, I don't think it is right to treat millions of people like human pond scum and even kill thousands of them indiscriminately merely because a handful of the same ethnic group caused 27 of your citizens to die over the past 10 years. Do you?

Is it really useful to talk about numbers of deaths caused by each sides? They are not comparable. Israel builds bunkers for its people, Hamas builds bunkers for its rockets. Israel has the bomb but it doesn't use it, If Hamas did - do you think they would hesistate? (Lets call this a small Nagasaki sized bomb).

Threats arent measured by only what they have done, but also on what they can potentially do.

Will you eat your words the day a rocket falls on a school and kills 150 kids?

Attempted murder is still a felony although you dont manage to actually kill someone you know...

Seriously, I cant believe your main argument here is that not enough people have died due to Hamas rockets and mortars, and utterly ignoring how many have actually been fired over the years....something like over 8000 rounds in the last few years.

Again, no other country on the planet would allow that either, and most likely would even be far more aggressive than the IDF has in putting a halt to it.

The treating people like hhuman pond scum isn't related to the rocket attacks, the 2006 invasion was related to the rocket attacks, which was a perfectly "measured response".

Has Hamas EVER launched a rocket of anything near that potency? A lot of the things that get launched are barely fireworks.

Hamas kills dozens. Israel kills thousands and subjects millions to brutal apartheid. "Measured response".

How many live in Gaza?

1.5 million?

How do they then subject millions to brutal apartheid? Assuming that each and every single one is given a dose of 'brutal apartheid' while watching Farfur the terror mouse. Do they give a double dose on Thursdays or something?

They can carry warheads up to 22 to 25 pounds in weight, so yeah, if one unlucky hit occurred it could cause a lot of casualties.

How many live in the West Bank and Israel?

I didnt realize my question was so tough that it needed to be avoided so.

But the point was that the real problems seem to stem out of Gaza. So whats different in Gaza? Oh yeah, Hamas is in charge...

I didn't realize that simple math was so tough.

West Bank: 2.3M
Gaza: 1.4M
Israel 1.3M

Total: 5 million oppressed Palestinians who live under brutal apartheid policies.

This suggests that all Palistinians are treated the same, regardless of location. Do you believe this to be true?

No, some of them are indeed more oppressed than others. Take the ones who live in Gaza, for instance. And I believe the ones who live in Israel are less oppressed than those who live in the West Bank. But they are all victims of Isreal's apartheid policies towards them, just as all blacks were victims in South Africa until apartheid was finally ended.

So, yes, there are indeed millions who are living under apartheid conditions.
