10 meltdowns is extreme. I think the randomness factor is worse than in Civ3, because in Civ3, reactors would only melt down when a city was in Civil Disorder. With that factor out, nuclear reactors are more of a gamble.
The same with global warming in general. At a certain point in a Civ3 game, global warming would start on its own, usually during the Industrial Era, when everyone is spamming factories.

Yea sorry for getting off topic and getting carried away. 'gets off soap box.' I have had some games go into the early 2000's with no global warming and some games I will get it in the middle 1900's. Once it starts there is no way to stop it, at least I havn't figured a way. I do think that lots of nukes will make it worse or come sooner, I sure wish I had a better idea of what causes it other then Nukes and time.
