GMR 2050 Arrives

...drat. I said I would tone down my active games, but this looks too interesting to pass up on

klionh87 both in Steam and GMR ;)

We have launched the game! :band::cheers:

By the way, the Maya has a nice non-coastal start! We are going to let England, the Ottomans and Portugal divide all the oceans and seas among each other. :splat:

(My) first turn done! I see a little more desert that I'd like, but otherwise, a fairly average start...coastal, thankfully :D

Any chance of a revert? I didn't get a turn notification and got skipped by accident...and I was wondering why it was taking so long for it to be my turn!
EDIT: Apparently, my e-mail randomly decided to start blocking GMR notifications as spam. Between this and the fact I have been insanely busy this past week, I didn't realize my turn was up. Gah, I feel like an idiot.

I would feel the same way if it happened to me... but last 4 days no GMR notification, but today, it went back.... I don't know why but I'm happy :)

I have reverted for you in both Cultural Warlords and 2050 Arrives games. Maybe it's time to consider of installing GMR client in order not to rely on E-mail notifications. This app would take a tiny space in your computer :)

And set the GMR app to auto start when windows starts.

I think its worth getting a GMR client installed with its application always on if you want a smooth GMR experience.
You wont miss a thing if you get it on and working!

The client is very useful. Smaller risk of missing something, and less email clutter. Double win! :)

Done and done - appreciate your patience! Ironically, when I first installed it I had set the GMR app to open upon start up of my computer. However, this week, I'd disabled that because I've been toting my computer around a lot and didn't feel like exiting the app every time. I'm an idiot, but you knew that already.

Don't blame yourself. It's just a game after all :)

Ethiopian Spearmen have met similarly armed warriors from England. Though we are appreciative of the kind offer to exchange Embassies and make a Declaration of Friendship, we do not yet feel we're ready to accept it. Perhaps we shall be willing to later on, if the offer is reproposed.

The game is very interesting at the moment.
Despite the map being rather big Egypt got close neighbor!
Looking forward a great game!

English spear has located your capital so why not accept embassy?

England and Ethiopia are also very close.
