Well, the Prussian Admiralty continues to surprise us. After capturing the Canary Islands on the 2nd of September, out naval task force arrived at Aggadir on the 15th to find that the Prussians, with their nearest port 1500 miles away, have blockaded the port as if they planned to take it!

Then, on the 17th, the H.M.S. Hamburg was surprised to find a Prussian frigate nearly 700 miles northeast of Scotland! Were they on a mission to the North Pole? The sailors of our great maritime powers met, drank rum, and sang in the warmth of the Hamburg all night, sheltered from the piercing winds of the Arctic. They are beginning to realize that the brotherhood of the sea transcends all nations.
