Do you use the berserkers to attack from the sea?
I guess it depends on if your enemy has many coastal cities...

I usually try to catapult them into enemy territory.. .

When I got them in a recent game, I loaded up my galleys and launched an amphibious attack on my neigbours to the south after drawing most of their forces to my borders with a land based attack. I managed to take three coastal cities with this strategy.

When used in conjunction with a land attack, the beserks become quite unbeatable.

I use them to attack from the air

Seriously, a combo attack is best if you have enough of them as not to spread yourself thin. Otherwise I attack what appears to be the most strategic target be it by land or sea.
