Goblin Scout unit. Source art from Dragonia II mod. Civ V conversion uses Shoshone Pathfinder animations so BNW expansion is necessary for this unit.

So how did you do the rigging? With Bone Weight Copying or vertex renaming?

I rename the vertex groups whenever possible, it is much easier that way for me. Once I join my base mesh to the Civ V unit bones I compare bone weights with the original unit. Every once in a while I will have to customize bone weighting but most Civ IV units match quite well.

It is matching up with the new unit position that is the pain in the arse. Every unit is in a different stance and sometimes it takes a while to rotate and stretch my base unit into position. After that though, it is easy-peasy :) .
 
OK, then can you help with my Tiranoc chariot please? His vertex groups are all correctly named and except for the glaring exception are properly assigned. The files are here.

Check your thread; I found the issue, corrected it, and saved it to a new .gr2. It is posted there. :)
