Golden Age with new patch (07/02/2013)

But with this new patch the golden age is easier to reach... the goal is always blocked around 580 gg points...

Ya, it changes with the number of cities, but never increases after a GA. I think it's been reported in the bugs section.

I think a bug, because like feature it's terrible.

I definitely enjoyed it as a temporary feature. It was nice to have as many golden ages as the AI for one game. I'm only getting a few of the bugs, like this GA thing, some sounds not firing, the occasional mysterious ship damage and some minor graphics glitches. Otherwise the patch is nice and I'm guessing most of this will be corrected next week.

I'm skeptical. It's much more likely these bugs will stay until they do a patch a while after expansion release. The developers will probably be on vacation. I've grown accustomed to not waiting for expansion release dates, but patch-for-the-expansion release dates instead - unfortunately.
