Is this View attachment TerrainBuildingsMEDALL.PCX what you're trying to do?

Irfanview doesn't do a very good job with cut n' paste because you can't control the pallette. In the meantime this file should work in your game (remember to rename it). For the future, I suggest that you get a copy of GIMP, a free graphics program, and use the handy tutorials available here to learn how to make good files.

Balhasar , I am gob smacked !!! That is almost exactly what was trying to do ( or rather ,actually had done , other than it didnt work). Thank you , I will use this .
Did you just make it or was it something "off the shelf"/available as a download ?
I "mastered" Infranview this morning . I have had Gimp , but is awfully slow for just looking at images and horrendously complicated for a dunce like me to use .

I just made it. Goldfool's graphics are clean and easy to work with. That's why I hang here. Don't be afraid to mess around with the Gimp. No, it's not for just looking at images, it's for making them into useful things, like this. But it's really not that complicated once you learn it. Trust me.

Widescreen City Screen

I made a wide screen version of the city screen to work with those who are playing on a large screen monitor.

I was thinking the same thing, then I realized that only the ones that have to be done are the ones where the black borders show up.

A lot of them have the map showing up on the sides, so I figure that there was no need.

I was thinking about maybe some of the game set up screens could be done.

River Deltas with Docks Version 2 (posted on post#1)

I have added docks and buildings to Pounders river deltas.
Filled in more water at the docks to show fewer islands.
Added a few more tributaries.
Replaced river heads with rivers that look better when not starting in a mountain.

Use both files together mtnriver and deltariver.

Version 1 removed after 225 downloads.
