From the UIA
To Spain

We await the Spainish reply to our generous proposal for peace when Spain leaves North Africa.

Mr. Gromyko snaped sharply at the UIA representative, "Had it not been for our invasion the UIA would be burning in flames from American Airforce right now. USA and AF together had a plan for the invasion of most of Africa and Middle East. If anything you should thank us for saving your rable from sure death at the hands of corrupt, but powerful, 'democracies.'"

Calming down a little bit Gromyko continued, "We accept Brazil's request. Russia is willing to attend a conference to discuss the terms of American surrender. I will talk with my college from the PRA and I am sure he will agree with me in this desision."

We're not communist so we're not worried anymore, next time don't tip your hand. ;D
g'd luck fighting your invaders, I'm sure you'll get a lot of support from 'the hidden alliance' that spans '20' members!!

It was OOC man, it doesn't affect the game (Or it shouldn't)

Let's see what wrong here.

1) UIA was not the target of the planned invasion, but rather, the corrupt AU headed by Nigeria who was fighting, and had invaded my ally the AF

2) Middle East was not a target at all.

3) We are not corrupt, and infact, we were investing money into reducing and controling any corruption in our countries.

4) This is for the last time, not a surrender. I will never surrender to the evil Russian "Empire". This will be a peace so that the World will not be burned in the fires of complete Total War. Whether by biolocial, Chemcial, Nuclear, or conventional Warfare, I would rather not see the world plunged into that, and I am sure Russia will be of the same mind, for if you continue this war, and if you continue to think of this as a surrender, instead of a peace so that war may not be brought to every country on this Earth then the world will be plunged into darkness.

To US government
From UIA

We will not recognise the PRA but however cannot offer you military aid at this time. We urge you to consider an equitable peace settlement. If not fight to you can not fight anymore!

To Spain
From UIA

You forget that we will not halt until you sign a peace with us. It is not us who proposes to murder innocent civilians due to the fact that they do not espouse the same ideals as us.

However we do warn you that unless you vacate North Africa, the UIA shall forever remain your enemy and forever we shall destroy your presence as we find it

And yet you threaten to kill 10,000 captured spanish soldiers? The hypocrisy runs deep, my friend.

Why you hav already done it. We ask you to leave our lands, we ask you to abandon your claims on the Islamic areas of the world. Yet you still persist.

@ Silver - Right, I cannot really do stats for those kinds of projects unless you tell me what you want your industry/Economy to be at when it is finished. I put those 2 eco towards your industry.

Everybody else, i am having troubles with my blasted internet, I have an unhappy Network Card, so, if I am not online, it is because my damn computer refuses to connect to the 'net. I might have solved it.

THE UPDATE IS SCHEDULED FOR SUNDAY, AND I HAVE 3/23 ORDERS. LETS START GETTING THEM IN, PEOPLE!!! I UPDATE WITH OR WITHOUT ORDERS!!!

Ok, enough of my blahblahblah, back to your usual negotiations, spam, and the like.

Oh, and the UIA has 50,000 Spanish Soldiers as Prisoners, not 10,000, unless something changed.

Government of Russia

Following the elections which took place last month the Duma and Council of Federation have finally chosen the executive government and the Czar has confirmned their apointments.

Legislative Leadership

Duma

President
brezhnev.jpg
Leonid Brezhnev

Brezhnev is the leader of the Communits Party of Russia, the largest force in Duma. Although he has lost his position as the General Secretary of the only party in Russia he still hold most of the countrol over the legislature and with his party and his new position plans to continue to force his hard-line communist policies.

Speaker of Duma
commies.gif
Gennady Zyuganov

A young and liberal member of the Communist Party. His agressive and lound arguments in Duma have made him a natural leader in the Party. He focuses on working with people and constatly debates, talk to the press, holds conferences, unlike the more conservative and reserved Brezhnev.

Federalist Leader in Duma
fradkov.jpg
Mikhail Fradkov

As loyal as people get, Fradkov is dedicated to serving his Premier and Czar. He is not a brilliant debater, but a good economist and a solid leader who can forcefully represent the position of the Federal Government within Duma. Smirnov puts a lot of hope on Fradkov to be able to provide a good immage that the Fedralists need for the next election.

Democratic Leader in Duma
link.zhirinovsky.jpg
Vladimir Zhirinovsky

The democrats were deeply divided over this candidacy. Zhirinovsky is seen a lot more as a political clown than a serious leader. He is famous for starting fist fights in Duma, yelling at his opponents, proposing irrational and crazy ideas. He however, and his block, the Liberal Democrats, enjoy a lot of nationalist support, and so, reluctantly, the democrats elected him.

Council of Federation

Speaker of the Council of Federation
2002.8.8.44.1.3a.jpg
Viktor Khristenko

Khristenko is one of the younger politicians in Russia who came to power with the Czar. He owes everything he has to the Czar, and is a very loyal Federalist. Most suspect him of having a personal agenda, but for now it appears to be corresponding with the Czar's agenda and so he was easily elected as the leader of the Council of Federation.

Executive Government

Premier
putin.jpg

Vladimir Putin
This man came out of nowhere in the last year. He was a KGB colonel when a brief suspention of Andropov catapulted him to the position of the General Secratary of the KGB. Andropov was re-instated after just a week, but Putin remained a high figure. He was taken from the KGB and put to work as a deputy Minister of Defence where he was one of the people responsible for the development of the plans for Australian and American invasions. When it came time to chose a Premier, Putin, who was a nobody a year ago, was the prime candidate who easily gain the nomination of the Czar.

Minister of Defence
Voroshilov.jpg

Klement Voroshilov
An old and experienced military commander. He served in WWII, although with not as much distinction as some others. He turned to politics, and during Khruschev's time was one of the leading men in the Ministry of Defence. Putin chose his as a gesture towards the old wings of the politicians.

Minister of Foreign Affairs
93fplci-topvyska.jpg

Igor Ivanov
An unexpected move by Putin to replace Gromyko. The old communist was a good foreign minister, but Putin was interested in making a stand and showing that the Federalists are in control of the government, no the communists. Ivanov is a solid choice for minister, with many years of service. He is said to be more subtle than the forceful Gromyko.

Minister of Internal Affairs
mironov.gif

Sergey Mironov
The ministry of internal affairs has a peculiar position. Officially they are the federal police, but unofficially that role is filled by the KGB, so more than anything Mironov is in charge of special operations and smaller-class police that KGB does not have time for.

Minister of Economic Development and Trade
chernomyrdin.jpg

Viktor Chernomyrdin
The leading economist in Russia. This man is the foundation of the Federal economyc program. He has a plan to bring together the Communist economy and an effective federal government.

Minister of Finances
illarionov.jpg

Andrei Illarionov
This man is responsible for Russian economic trnsition towards Communism, keeping a steady monetary income, etc. He is a personal friend of Putin and that is probably why he was chosen over some other, more capable, economists.

Minister of Industry and Energy
2002.8.8.2002.6.22.kasyan_2.jpg

Mikhail Kasyanov
The last of Putin's new economic team. Together with the other two this bright new economist is responsible for the supply of energy and the rebuilding of Russian industry. He is the mind behind the Perestroyka Project.

General Secretary of the KGB
andropov_q1.jpg

Yuri Andropov
One of the few communists who kept their positions with the change in power. He is a loyal and honest agent of the government. Under his leadership the KGB has risen to become the greatest intelligence network in the world, and will remain so.

Secretary of the General Staff of the Military
zhukov.jpg

Georgy Zhukov
The Russian military genious. He was responsible almost single handedly for the Russian strategy during WWII. Now getting old, but he is still serving the motherland to the best of his abilities.

OMG you made Chernomirdin Minister of Economic Development and Trade!
Anyway Brazilian proposal is on the way.

oops, uh er too late now?
well anyway, I was tipping back - I realized on my own that I might die for you alone and the rest of the world might not, your ooc reply just hastened the process a bit
I should have just kept to my paranoid isolationism anyway.

OOC: Around 1971 I think...
