PM Expresses Sorrow
Prime Minister Nehru has expressed his deep sorrow at the massive loss of life and destruction that took place around the world and even in India. He has called upon all the remaining nations of the world to work together to ensure this never again happens.
New Dheli Destroyed!
New Dheli has been destroyed and the sourrounding area has been contaimanted as a result the capital is being moved to Mumbai (Bombay). Reconstruction and decontamianation work will take place in New Dheli. It will be cordoned off till all work has been finished.
The injured are being treated as best possible but as India has never expirenced anything like this before so it is expected many will die.
Cities Renamed
In other news the Prime Minister has announced that the following cities will be renamed:
Bombay:Mumbai
Calcutta:Kolkata
Madras:Chennai
There is currently debate as weather to rename India Hindustan as well.

@Goober how come the UIR in stats has no cities nuked while on the map it clearly shows that it got hit quite heavily? Also what is the basis for this nation? How were they created and why? I mean they certainly did'nt exist in 1962.

India opposes the formation of a new UN as it caused more problems than it solved. It is better for the tectonic plates of history to shift naturally.
