When i was playing as ljosalfar i first played as thessa (neutral) then arandel, but arandel was good aligment.

Is that depending on leader or what?

Yeah, it depends on the leader, not the race, but as far i can tell, the ljosalfar are the only ones to have leader of different alignment, but hey, prove me wrong...
