I tend to plan out my tech rush. I generally do the whole era, per column. Are these good tech priorities?
1. Techs that gives free techs, unlock civics, gives free units/great people, has universal effects, and allows space
2. Techs that unlock new workers, settlers, unlocks tile improvements/upgrades (roads for instance), enables movement on terrains, and improves worker speed on improvements
3. Techs that give law enforcement or disease control units
4. Techs that reveal goods
5. Punk techs
6. Techs that unlock wonders (national or otherwise)
7. Techs that unlock buildings that give food, science, or production (primarily, visible on the tech itself).
8. Techs that unlock military units
9. Techs that give and unlock religions
10. Techs that improve buildings, unlock promotions
