[Major Update] I've recently gotten and have been playing Civ4 BtS since my brother installed Civ4 and after seeing the new civs and played them myself, I've had to fix up some capital cities to fit with the game, therefore the Zulu capital IS Ulundi. Other changes are mainly incorrect guesses;
Byzantine [Byzantium > Constanitople]
Celtic [Entremont > Bibracte]
Ethiopia [Addis Abeba > Askum]
Khmer [Angkor > Yasodharapura]
Mali [Bamako > Timbuktu]
Maya [Chichen Itza > Mutal]
Ottoman [Ankara > Istanbul]
Sioux [Little Bighorn > Isanti]
Sumer [Ur > Uruk]
Viking [Trondheim > Nidaros]
I also need to change the current Iroquois capital, Salamanca, based off Civ3, to the first city from Colonization, Onodowahagh, but I've so far been unable to find the location on any site I find, so I'd like some help from people here to find two native cities for the Civ4Col edition; Onodowahagh (Iroquios) and Tiiis Tseba (Apache). The remaining native cities are plotted.
I've completed 24 of the 36 civilisations now and have split all of the capitals, wonders and expansions into their nationalities, which now means I can consider starting to post them one by one. I've decided to post each civ separately so as to not give the first impression of a huge colourful mess. With that, I've told about my claimed territories add-on to the expansion area, well to add to it and the civ label, I've labeled the plots as the original names of each claim in the language of the captor. Examples are;
Sint Maarten [Dutch]
Polynésie Française [France]
Deutsch-Südwestafrika [Germany]
Srivijaya [India]
Daitō Shotō [Japan]
I've also given the civilsation expansions their offical titles, also trying to find their linguistic equivalents;
United States of America [America]
the United Kingdom of the Netherlands [Dutch]
Nazi Germany [Germany]
Heiliges Römisches Reich Deutscher Nation [HRE]
Haudenosaunee [Iroquois]
Tomorrow I'll begin the Mayan history and learn where and how to post goggle layers for the public, it's too late for my to start now.
