I might be wrong, but I think that you don't get first in google search by paying money. (they have the advertisement links for that)

A Google bomb or Google wash is a certain attempt to influence the ranking of a given page in results returned by the Google search engine. Due to the way that Google's PageRank algorithm works, a page will be ranked higher if the sites that link to that page all use consistent anchor text. A Google bomb is created if a large number of sites link to the page in this manner. Google bomb is used both as a verb and a noun.

So, basically, if a large community of internet users decide to link to any page by using a consistent anchor test, that page will be listed in first place when you type the anchor test.

Meh. So I was wrong. Maybe. But a relative of mine pays some extra $$$, and her site comes up first if you search for a specific keyword. I'll not include that keyword because most will find the site irrelevant. It is about part of our local area, in Oregon, USA.
