I got the Civilization III GOTY edition by downloading it online at trygames.com. I then purchased the Conquests version from the same site to go with it, but for various "technical reasons" that were explained to me by the people with atari support, it doesn't work with the downloadable version of Civ III GOTY. (This wasn't told to me before I bought it, which supremely ticks me off.)
But anyway, I decided to make a mod importing all the conquests and PTW units and civs to GOTY. I figure since I paid for it, I should at least get to use it. Not quite the same, but I'll be working on terrains and resources later. What I want to know is this: I want to create new civs in GOTY that use the same names, leaderheads etc as Conquests. But conquests has different names for leaderheads and flics, usually with a X_somethingsomething. Can anyone tell me a thorough, step-by-step guide to add a new civ using the Conquests heads and flics?
@the mods-sorry if wrong forum, but I couldn't decide which one to use. I thought of C&C, but it's not exactly a high-traffic area.
