Challenger, attempt on fast culture
Settled on PH, went for Oracle and (when saw stone) Pyrs.
Builds in capital: worker-boat-boat-war-settler or smth like that
Techs: fish-BW-myst (by then all 3 early religs were discovered) - medi-phood-wri - CoL (Oracle) - masonry - wheel - MATHS (a shot on Pyrs chop). Dunno, maybe an overshoot. Then hunting-AH-Pottery-
2nd city on 2 golds, stone, sheep - 2nd production city. Built Pyrs in 800BC. Then only 3rd city (GP farm on sheep and fish). 4th was between first two to outsource cottages. I think I overbuilt cities - placed 1 on copper island as I got Confu and was targeting Tao (was beaten by Cathy, though), and their cathedrals require copper for 100% production bonus; 1 North of Delhi grabbing 1 deer to outsource 4 cottages; 1 on a tundra hill with lake and 2 deer to get chops; and 1 west from 2nd ity to outsource 2 cottages and work fish. Too bad there is not a decent place for 9th city, and I suppose I shouldn't have built 2 last cities
As I had both Oracle and Pyrs in Delhi and didn't settle GP farm until late, the first GP was a GProphet. Therefore I quickly teched Poly and Mono to lightbulb Theo and get Christianity, which would come nicely with my stone.
I've been found only by 1 civ close to 500AD - it was Cathy, she was Taoist, Cautious and became Annoyed with me pretty soon - I managed only to trade CS for MC + Alpha. Still, I have a spare GS to l-bulb Edu and am fairly confident in my Liber chances. It won't be a fast finish though and I might as well get raped.
