GOTM Problems...

What Version are you play, Gold, TOT, ect?
I've never had that happen with Civ2Gold, Civ2, or TOT, but if yours is overseas version It may happen, not sure.
What I would suggest you do is Download the Patch, if you don't already have it, That also could fix the bug.

I downloaded the GOTM 1 file but couldnt get it to work with my version of Civ2 ToT.
Do I need the converter ? Does the sav file have to be in a particular folder ?
Pity, looks like one of you other guys will have to get the lowest score

Test of Time is a completely different game. You should use, the classic Civ2, Scenarios, Fantistic Worlds or Gold Edition.

Have you made any changes to your rules.txt?

You say ToT is a completely different game. But the copy I have contains Civ2 Original. In fact thats all I play. I did play Extended, Midguard and SciFi a couple of times but I still prefer the original game.
I dont see how its completely different.

I got the statue and it worked fine. (Unfortunately I think I got it too late to really help me.)
Kaak, this is probably a silly question (I hope you're not insulted but having done tech support for years I know questions like this are often necessary!), but are you sure you have the Statue in one of your cities? Those would be your choices if you have democracy but not the Statue.

Yes ToT does contain a working version of original Civ2.But it needs to be "extracted" first.

Hmm, the plot thickens.
What does "extracted" mean ? Maybe somebody could just tell me if they have Original Civ2 from the ToT CD and got the GOTM to work.
Maybe I need to research Espionage to sort this out

Do any of you folks know if there is a version of Civ2 available in the UK which would allow me to play GOTM ?
I am currently using Civ2 Original from the Test of Time pack. Even if I download and convert to use this, presumably I couldn't send in my result cos youse couldn't read it.
I have seen Civ2 Call to Power on the shelves over here. Would that work ?
I have now scored over 100% on all levels except Deity so I am not a complete beginner.
Any help would be welcome.
