GOTM Teams.

Well I think it's time for a re-look at this idea. 4 GOTM's have come oand gone since then.....

I'm not the only one would would like to give it a go?

So how about a test drive for GOTM 6?

I've never played a succession game. Would I need any additional software?

Nope C pete - all you need is the same version of Civ as the others on you team!!!

It's as simple as that - each play a certain number od turns and sends the game to the next in the list - and that's the way it goes on and on and on..........

I'm not wildly ecstatic about a team GOTM, though I'm sure I'd try it if it was implemented. On the other hand, I don't see why informal teams couldn't just submit their games to the GOTM scoreboard as it stands. Those like Leowind who may not have the time to finish could 'partner up' with a couple of others (or even just one other), give themselves a cool-sounding team name and play that way.

I think it would be fun to have some teamwork in the GOTM, but I'm not sure that a *dedicated* Team-GOTM would fly.

Don't have a team competition as part of GOTM! However there is no reason that a team competition couldn't be run using the same rules as GOTM. It doesn't have to be one or the other.
