Thanks for your patience; I have been feeling seriously under the weather. This game will present a few challenges! First, the starting location's not bad, but the surrounding terrain is tough to settle. How did your initial settling and expansion go. 2nd, you do have some company. How did that go? Any other contacts? Status going into the Middle Ages?

research MM than Rep
build TGL in my 2nd town
first contact to America and Atztecs, lost 2 Kamikaze Galleys, 3rd found Korea trade all contacts.

war with america,raze 1 town.
2 times war with england gives 2 leaders, 1st rush FP in the town by the 3 cows, 2nd rush GLB which push me in the MA in 350bc with Mono and Feuda.

Just got to the middle ages - at about 300 AD. I have all contacts but I'm lagging in research at this point. I've pushed England off my continent. The west does not know the east - I'm in the middle thanks to my suicide galleys, looking to make big gains.

I've had 23 elite victories - and 0 GL. I must have made the RNG gods mad. Very slow going, but I built my FP brick-by-brick. This might be a long game . . .

I reached the middle ages a little later; early research went really slowly. My suicide galleys have all suicided before even reaching a hint of land. I did get a relatively early GL, which I saved to build the FP in London. It took me rather longer to reach London than I had hoped, however.

I'm now well into the middle ages and my caravels continue to sink - no ship has lasted more than one turn in the ocean, and it is a little frustrating.
