Gotm20-Spain Setup files available en Francais

We are attempting to provide better support o our French speaking Civ3 players who have previously be excluded from being able to play the Gotm because of several small mismatches in the PTW setup file.

Bolka has helped us to provide an FAQ page for Fench players in French at:

The setup files for Gotm20-Spain have also been converted to match the French language lables in the French version of PTW. Players who have the French language PTW copy:

French players may also send an email to gotm@civfanatics.net to identify themselves and a French speaking staff member or experienced player will contact them to help make sure they get set up successfully to play the game.

Wow, I was surprised to see my "name" next to the French flag inside cracker's post on the site's main page !
I'm happy to have been of any help, even though I didn't make "much". Maybe I was persevering during all this time. And my reward was to be able to play GOTM 19.
Now I hope many French players will join us to play GOTM. I'll start asking the ones I know.
If help is requested in the future for coming GOTM (maybe the Conquest XP will unfortunately do this mess again), I'll still be there !

There is not a specific German version but several users with the German version have been getting the game to play by renaming some files labels in the units xxxx.ini files.

Example:

... rename them with the English term(Bautrupp to read Worker, Späher to read Scout, Artillerie to read Artillery, Reiter to read Horseman), etc. ...

Try to contact cfc member "The Moose" via private message or email on this site and he can give you specific details to get your software configured so the game will play.

kryszcztov, French but I am playing in with v1.29f so I do not have setup issues linked to French version
