The submissions process will be made easier for us if you follow these instructions:

1. Submit only your final save. You are encouraged to keep additional GOTM saves and documentation for a short period, but they should not be included with your submission.
2. Label the saves as follows: joan_smith_ad1300.sav. No additional information, such as “GOTM20,” is needed.
3. If you win, submit a save of the optional turn after.
4. If you lose, submit a save from the turn before (the autosave).
5. Send all submissions to gotm_submit@civfanatics.net or use the submission page. Please note that this address is for the GOTM only, and not the QSC.

Hi! Can you explain how you are going to sort these in regard to class?

I hope I am not talking out of turn, but I feel I can answer that question. First he puts mine at the bottom of the list, then places all the real players on top.

ltcoljt, the best answer that I can give to your question is that I won't, but the game-checkers will. Each game, once opened, is identifiable by class. They will be marked as such in the final results, with the Conquest scores handicapped down (and ineligible for prizes). However, the plan is for all games to be on one results list.

So you definitely don't want the class in the file name. I'll have to remember that when I'll submit.

That is a good idea and one that may be implemented. I have to change the submission form to add a few other things. Hopefully I will be doing this soon. We may add this change as well.

Hmmmm... I have been submitting the turn BEFORE I win (last 2 GOTMS 19, 20) as per the instructions on the GOTM submit page. This set of instructions is saying I should wait for the turn where I win (Never lost, not once, no never, never, never... HA!) save that turn and submit it? Is this correct?

This appears to change from game to game. I think this turn I actually did submit on my end turn instead of the turn afterwards.

But reading Creepsters last post here it should now be on the turn after I WON! Should I resubmit or can you deal with hitting the return key and waiting for the computer to make his quicky moves?

I submitted the turn before (accidently, when I won) and forgot to post my final score in the submission form. What should I do?

EDIT: I will resubmit, as there are a couple of things in the IBT that are important. How do I go about resubmitting?

I have also submitted from the turn BEFORE the win for gotm 19 and 20 as per the instructions page. Yes, definitely fix this to reflect the diffs between a winning game and losing game or I'm sure we'll all keep doing this as i refer to that page each time I submit to make sure I get the form correct.
Too bad the instructions are wrong..hehe

Where's the challenge if we have continuity?

That said, your suggestion is an excellent one. Or we could go with an alternative that should satisfy all players: three classes of submissions instructions - Conquest, Open and Predator. I would rate the current ones as on the harder end of Open, but veteran players may disagree, and opt for the Predator instructions. You can find those for this month's game on the last page of your VCR users manual.

Ohhh, no, for it to be *real* predator, it'd have to be 1970s VCR instructions. The ones in really fractured English.
