Yes, I am also impressed with the number of submissions for this deity level game. I wonder how many of them are wins.....

Is this a subtle way of you saying that you got your first Deity Win here...

PS. Me too...

I wonder how many like myself are just running out of time .

You can throw me into that bucket. The only hope I had of finishing was to call in sick today, and that didn't happen. :(

We'll see if I can find the 8 or so hours I need later tonight.

On the bright side there is a new game coming out tomorrow, so I'll have to make sure I start that one earlier.

Arrgh--I know I have a win here---but there is no way beyond a miracle of speedy civ that I will get this one submitted in time.

Ah well--this one will be completed (report and all), since it was such a fun game...

Just submitted an hour ago and have a question.

The instructions on the submission page say to submit the turn before the game ends (which I did). But the other instructions which I just read say to submit on the turn after the game ends.

I don't have that save with me to submit. I also didn't send in a 10AD save (forgot to bring it with me to the office).

Should I re-submit from home later, with both files?

I'm pretty sure whoever gets the game won't have any trouble determining how to end the game as the 2nd or 3rd question is do you want a UN vote.

I'm also in the "need a miracle to finish on time" camp. :-(

I think I'll switch to blitz play this evening, and see whether I win magnificently, or go down in flames....

Denyd AFAIK it is the turn after and I too submitted the turn before thankfully with the AI taking all my cities bar two (Capital and UN city) and then nuking my capital in the inter-turn, little of no effort is required to get the UN victory straight after ;)

Well, just submitted. 29 1/2 hours - whew!

Lost Space Race, as I expected. Didn't get wiped, so that was a plus. I actually was ahead in the histograph.

I used the submit form - didn't ask for class. It was Conquest, as will be apparent if you look for defenders in the capital.

Well I ran out of time :(
So Darkness is now ready to make a move on my GR of 11th

I am going to play this one out, but I submitted a retirement game (end of turn before retiring).

This may be a loss for the record, but I will finish the conquest and post a report.

:hammer:

EDIT--I see I cannot submit a retired/incomplete game. Blah--I see no value in abandoning cities and then losing...so the non-submission is official.

Well I finished last night after 11:00 PM with civ overload for the weakend. I just submitted the game in time on June 30th! If that submission goes south I will scream:aargh:

It's official I didn't make it. Abandoned all hope of conquest and tried like heck to get at least a diplo win and had the vote at 12:00 EST and it was inconclusive . Oh well! Too many games too little time.

there's still 6 or 7 hours left, I believe. I'm pretty sure we have until midnight Hawaii time or such...

@Melifluous: I had no idea I was capable of being subtle... ;)

@Phillip_martin: Sorry to hear that, but I doubt I'll catch up to you just yet, you've still got quite a points lead on me in the GR. Better luck next game....

I ran out of time too - but I'm still gonna play this one to a finish. I rushed through a lot of not very good turns last night but I'm nowhere near finishing.

At present I need a GOTY competition to stand a chance of completing ;)
