My first ever fastest time award. My 1595AD 100K victory was the best.

samildanach gave me a good run for the money with 1640AD.

I am amazed I did this well with my mistake of missing the +5 food factory.

However, it looks like I am falling behind my trainee's again. hotrod0823 took 31st, while I took 42nd.

- Lee - You took a much harder and less traveled road to 100K. Congratulations !

I was going for space but never got to 4 turn / tech because I didn't have a large enough empire. It was pretty clear at that point that a diplo win was going to score me higher so I took it.

Thank God for the Medal Play Games, which made so many top players go for a fast Spaceship win instead of a high Jason score!

Although 10 turns is a wider gap than I care to admit.
What happened to the cow award this time- has it been moth-balled. I noticed that there is nothing beside Svars name-he looks to have had the highest in game score.

Hergrom appears to have a higher in game score and, oddly, the fastest conquest award at 2050AD. So I guess he gets the cow and the weird coquest speed medal.

Hergrom got the fastest conquest victory at 2050 AD-and I thought I was being clever by going for the 100k thinking that not many people would go for it. Well done Hergrom- fastest conquest,lowest scoring conquest award and the sacred cow- thats a fantastic haul.

About time, Alexman! You already deserved a gold medal to go with all of your contributions to game play. But in this case, your score is outrageous, both on its own terms and in comparison those on your tail.

Thanks! I really thought I was only gunning for the cow award. I pretty much randomly chose a conquest victory at 2050 AD, but it turned out to be the right choice. Go figure. I guess this shows that the medal series play has significantly scewed the GOTM.

Of course, now that I AM going for a fast conquest on GOTM 22, I will not even be close.
