gotm49 crashes

I was gonna try to finish this one up but I can't get out of the early middle ages as everytime a barb would sack a city civ crashes. The problem of course is that there are about 50 left and really the only solution I found was to use an autosave from two turns before and prevent the barb from hitting my city. Alas that ruins the game for me.


Any clue why this is happening?

No - a bug in the software I think. E-mail it to me at gotm@civfanatics.net with instructions on how to reproduce, and I'll see what I can do....
 
I write about this fact. Reload last autosave cant resolve this problem. Only reload previous autosave...
 
Is the city in question on the edge of the map, by any chance? Where it wraps around?

Do you have animations turned on?
 
The same thing happened to me and it was not on the edge of the map. Mine was a newfound town with no food or shields in the boxes. I'm quite sure I had money in my treasury though, so it was not a matter of barb not knowing what to do and being left hanging in cyberspace. (Don't even know if that can happen.)

I had to go back a turn and delay the founding of the city, after consulting with Alan and ainwood.
