Ok, tricky situation indeed and I might use the WarMob just to let the americans die against our defenses, and spare our attackers until we have enough.

I got it and will take my time, if I screw this up we are toast.

Good job. This is not as bad as a mess as I am in in Space 2. Go over there and check out the Inca army.

The Save

Pre-turn - Luxtax to 20% and make most clowns work again.
Rush a couple of barracks and artilleries.

Think a second and decide to switch to Republic, we are at war with 3 civs and WW will only get worse.

1405AD - America lands 4 troops near Teno.

We are a Republic. Luxtax back to 10%.

We will need a lot of artilleries against all those infantries.

Kill the 4 offending units neat Teno, losing a cav.
Kill a hurt infantry near Pisae.

Bombard 4 cavs with our 4 arties, all hit their targets. Kill them without losses.
There's still 12 american units in our territory, 8 of them infantries.

1410AD - We lose silks, I renew it for 15 gpt and 258g.
I sell salt and gems to Ottomans for 31 gpt and 54g.
Rushbuy another artillery.

Bombard some units, Lincoln sent more troops into our lands.
Attack a hurt cav with an elite cav and we get a leader!

Montezuma's Revenge is created, which is a cav army. I want to see what stuff they are made of and they kill a reg infantry easily.
Start Heroic Epic in Teno - 3 turns.

1415AD - Americans pillage a couple of tiles.
6 new arties are built, we have a dozen now, switch to cavs in major cities.

Bombard units and kill 6 and guess what? We got another leader!
I create another cav army, Gozpel's Grace.

1420AD - More american troops are pouring in.
Switch Teno to Pentagon, 4 units in an army is better than 3.

Kill 8 enemies.

1425AD - Kill 6 infantry, lose 2 cavs

1430AD - WW is worse, have to raise luxtax to 20%

Kill 5 units, lose none.

1435AD - We kill 5 units and get another leader!
Create Humble Pie Army.

1440AD - Kill 7, lose none

1445AD - We build the Pentagon -> Military Academy.

Renew incense deal with Greece for gems and 200g.

We kill 7 units and...Yeah, you got it, we got yet another leader.
Army created, called RNG Crunch.

1450AD - Kill the last 6 infantries in our territory.


I know I should've saved a leader for palace jump, but so far we have only defended and need to take on America on their playground. With 4 cav-armies we stand a better chance to really hurt them.
We should raze the cities closest to our border and send our own settlers there, so we don't have to bother about flips.

There are probably deals to be made, India will sell Combustion for oil, 60 gpt, 820g and WM. Next player can do the trade if we really need it now. Or we can wait until we can get peace with other civs in 7-8 turns.

Watch out for the warweariness, it will jump again.

IIRC, the first three American burgs are reachable with artillery from within our borders. Whack 'em down to pop1 while wasting any American troops trying to force the border, then capture and roll forward. Keeping our borders expanding while warring will help with the WW. Should they flip back arriving reinforcements can retake them.
 
It could go to Ravenna, or if the incursion into America is successful, one of the American towns in the north. Need to clear the American threat first, though.

Might be useful to keep cav army in south for zone defense and keep artillery in the coastal towns to pound Abe the Avaricious since he's sailing troops south.

Well for your info, units can promote within armies :lol:

I rather use elites for leader fishing, than wasting them in armies...
