GPuzzle's Civs

You know, nobody's perfect. and I'd rather have McGann's LS instead of this one.

I dont mean to be mean, but i think i have found something much better.

It's the art style.

It's not Civ-esque for Leaderscreens. Would look good for a Great Work of Art, but not for a Leaderscreen.

Like I said earlier the current one is fine but could use some touchups to he face since it currently doesn't match the body. mainly in it's colorization.

I sat down and messed around with the coloring a little. I was just trying to match the face skin color with the arms coloring.

This Caesar looks like a clown.

Some feedback other than "looks like a clown" would be nice, guys. Thanks for the coloring advice, Specialize.

Edit: And yeah, can this circus not afford makeup? Cause that's just sad

I think some shadings and overall complexity around his eyes would be nice, also some shading near his hair on his forehead:

I also think his eyes are a tiny bit too small, but I didn't change that in the above example.
I hope this helps, looks good overall :)

I definitely agree on the eye area, while I was just adjusting the colouring to show what I meant earlier the eye area looked flat.

Another thing that would improve it, is adding some clouds and lighting effects to the sky. As it is right now, the sky area, which accounts for a pretty big part of the image, is very bland.

Its not that he's a "Clown" per say, I think he doesnt look half bad its the background that kinda ruins it a bit with three-dimensional figure-ish form and realistic setting http://news.discovery.com/history/archaeology/nero-palace-reconstructed-virtual-110415.htm add some light contrast and try to increase the quality it might not look half bad and fit with Caesars model, or if not atleast improve his shading and maybe just tone down nose a bit.

Thanks for the recommendation, although I am not using Nero's Palace for Julius Caesar.

I know, I had to cut corners as honestly not many virtually reconstructed versions of Julius Caesar's palace out there, I might try finding something more accurate but its the best I could come up with, I will advise you if I ever find something better. :(
