Sorry for the newbie question. I just got the game I can fortunately run the game but is lags so I am considering upgrading my Video Card. I spoke to someone at Dell. I didnt feel confident with the info he gave me. I thought it would be best to ask someone else.
I am currently looking to upgrade my graphis card for my system. I have a
dell dimension 8200
512 ram
agp Nvidia Geforce mx 64 mb
intel Pent 4 1.8 ghz
I was told I could purchase
the
VERTO GEFORCE FX 5500 AGP-128MB VIDADPT
or
Evga e-GeForce FX 5500 256 MB AGP Graphics Card with TV-Out
or
Evga e-GeForce 6200 256MB AGP Graphics Card
I was told that If I went with the last 2 options I wouldnt really making good use out of the card. (I wont be using the 256 MB).
Is this true or where they trying to get rid of a older outdated slower card?
does anyone have any advice?
I want to play the Multiplayer version online and I dont want my slow graphics card to be the reason I lose everygame. I can lose without the lag time just fine.
