Graphic problem - Everything is violet

When I start the game in any way with any graphical configuration the land map is all violet and the only thing I can see above the violet screen are the units. I can also see the menus and the fixed info around the screen.. except for the city menu which is all violet.. Only when I zoom out to max the point where you can only see the land borders the violet goes away..

I installed the new patches and all my drivers for every single component are the latest.

My PC: Vista 32, ASUS striker extreme - 2 * ASUS EN8800gtx - 4 GB CORSAIR - Intel core 2 6600, Thermaltake 1200W power, WD Raptor, Soundblaster X-fi Elite.

Note: This problem never occured with the original version nor with warlords.
