OK. I am using an iMac, but I 've never had so many crashes from a single game. Less than an hour played and I had already 4! game crashes. I hope it is more stable on a PC. It is insane to use it with DX11 on a Mac... maybe

Check out the technical issues forums. Also, make sure you have the latest drivers for your video card, if Mac doesn't do that automatically.

There is hope my firend, but it may take a bit of elbow grease on your part.

It also helps if you describe issues in very specific details, like "After selecting "Single Player and Play Now,"" the game loads and the intro units are visible. However, the game is unresponsive... Details...

Crash during the starting video (and it can be hard to skip it, clicking all the time with nothing happens)
Crash when building the world (possible rendering problem?)
Crash when moving to the active unit
Crash during talking with another leader

It is getting frustrating, I'll search for some drivers...

Here are my specs:
Intel Dual Core x 2.93 GHz
RAM 4GB
Nvidia GeForce GT 120
Windows 7 x64

Found and downloaded the latest Nvidia drivers...

The NVIDIA Setup program could not locate any drivers that are compatible with your current hardware. Setup will now exit

Will try to change the current installed driver with the freshly downloaded one... If only I remember how...

The driver I downloaded says it is for Vista and Windows 7.
I uninstalled the driver from BootCamp, then Windows restarts and automatically installs it again?!?
I have forgotten what was like to use Windows....

Anyway, I reduced most of the display settings and managed to play some 50 turns, until it crashed again with the ugly Napoleon demanding something.

Do you think DirectX 9 will be more stable?
