Graphics Modification Requests Thread

Forgive me. I thought, and now I see that I was mistaken, that you were willing to check if I had the error in the XML that you wrote about. Once again, I apologize for my mistake. Good night.

I don't have civ7, and I have no idea, what this is. Can you post a picture?

Sorry for replying your post after 3 days. I attached a picture from Pairidaeza in Civ7

No worries, I just misunderstood. I went over it another time, and I can tell you now that I see no obvious LSystem errors with the sets you mentioned.
Here are my PlotLSystem and CityLSystem-Files with the ironage.nif Citysets.
Nor here, unfortunately. Seems like the error might be elsewhere, and I don't have any good theories as to where.

Thanks. So that probably means the same answer as Kathy. I have an idea what it might be, but I haven't figured out how to verify it yet. Unless it was a quick bug in Lsys, it's probably a long shot :(

Hello everybody

My second request is Civ4 version of Apadana.
In order to fully understand it's architecture, you need to visit these two links "Persepolis Reimagined" and also this.

My first request in this thread was Civ4 version of Pairidaeza (from Civ7)

Thanks in advance.

With this new set, at least the problem in the existing game ist solved and I see no pink buildings anymore.

My new request is Civilization IV version of "Darius the Great" from Civilization V.

Face and skin color of "Darius the Great" from "Persia" in Civilization IV is terrible and he looks like an African king and not a Persian king.
But in Civilization V his face and skin color is a bit more believable (still not perfect and not close to his handsome/real face but fairly acceptable)

That's interesting. Since I reassembled it in the same .nif, the only difference were the models themselves - which means somehow the issue was in them.
I encountered a similar issue with pink pieces and others not appearing correctly. The issue was due to "ghost" materials I forgot to delete during the process of separating and reassembling pieces. A possible explanation to your case.

Hello Modding Lover. Would something like this suffice for the civ4 Apadana? This is a conversion from the game Humankind. NIF size is 56 kb. If you are interested, I can see about cleaning up the textures.

"Apadana" means Persian palace, or perhaps grand palace. There were two, both built by Darius I, who is also called the Great; one in Persepolis and the other in Susa. The third Persian Empire palace in Ecabanta was of a different design (built earlier, by Medes), and has no surviving ruins. Both of these apadanas were begun by Darius, and not finished until the time of Xerxes and the son Artaxerxes. The artist's conception in Nexus' post is the one in Persepolis. The "Throne Hall" in that picture is the Hall of 100 Columns (which Pie put as a wonder in PAE, while he doesn't have an apadana). This Hall of 100 columns was built by Xerxes.
I think maybe civ modders don't clearly distinguish these buildings.

That looks great @tantanmen! I have made a note to include this in my mod, it's definitely more fitting than the current model it is using for this wonder.
