This is Egypt's Times Square; directly northeast of the Egyptian Museum in the heart of downtown. I figured anybody who has visited Cairo would recognize it; otherwise it would be tough.

A hint: this city was largely built on a swamp, and land reclamation has been the feat of the 20th century for this city. And it lies on the ocean.
